Your new Manulife Financial compensation statement

In July, Manulife Financial launched a new compensation statement for plan advisors. You now have the option to receive your compensation statements electronically through the Internet instead of receiving paper statements.

Electronic compensation statements
To stop paper compensation statements and begin receiving electronic compensation statements, you'll need to 1) be a registered user of Manulife Financial's Repsource website and, 2) arrange to have your statements posted to your Secure Inbox on Repsource.

To register for Repsource
If you're not already registered to use Manulife Financial's Repsource, go to www.manulife.ca/repsource. When you reach the Repsource homepage, click on "Register" and follow the instructions.

To receive online statements instead of paper statements
Once you're a registered user of Repsource, call 1-800-838-7770 to make a request for your statements to be posted to your Secure Inbox. You must be an active advisor to request this service.

Please note: If you have multiple selling codes, you will receive a statement for each selling code (even inactive codes) listed in your Repsource profile.

If you are a Group Benefits plan advisor, please note the following:
In the coming weeks, you'll notice that it will be easier to compare your compensation and your commission reconciliation statements for business on the ManuConnect and Gipsy systems.

Your compensation statement will be at the "contract" and "account/division" levels, which means it will align better with your reconciliation statement. We're also simplifying much of the terminology that's found on your compensation statement, and switching to weekly reporting of the commission reconciliation statements. The commission reconciliation statement contains information about the base (premium/deposits) used to calculate the amount of commission paid, as reflected on the compensation statement.

Please compare the compensation and commission reconciliation statements the next time you have activity during a period for clients who are on the ManuConnect and Gipsy systems. We think you'll appreciate the changes we're making. Commission reconciliation statements will continue to arrive in paper format.
