 | New name for World Access emergency travel assistance On June 2, 2008, World Access® - Manulife Financial's travel assistance provider - changed its name to become Mondial Assistance® Mondial Assistance is the name of the World Access parent company, a name in use in almost 30 countries around the world. Only the name has changed: the phone numbers and the high quality service that your customers expect to receive when using their plan's travel assistance benefit remains unchanged. Plan members should continue to carry and use their current travel assistance cards. As new members are added to plans, those new members will receive cards with the Mondial Assistance name and logo. And beginning on June 2, callers to World Access were greeted by customer service representatives who identified the company as Mondial Assistance.
